Imagination Series - Geoffrey Fletcher on Imagination

Hey filmmakers! If the first item on your bucket list involves working with an Academy Award winner, the opportunity of a lifetime may have just arrived. Geoffrey Fletcher — Oscar-winning screenwriter of Precious — has teamed up with Bombay Sapphire’s Imagination Series to release a short film script that needs direction. Your challenge, should you decide to accept it, is to use your skills to bring this script to life!

What’s Fletcher looking for? Here’s what he says: “I want to see things that I wouldn’t have imagined; I want to be inspired by the imagination of others… to help unlock the unique point of view that only they have.”

Bombay Sapphire, the Tribeca Film Festival, and Fletcher himself will select five winning entries to go into production, which will become the first five films of the Imagination Series. More details can be found right here. And for all you Tweeps out there, Fletcher will take over the Imagination Series Twitter account on Thursday, 7/26. He’ll be encapsulating the entire imaginative process in 140 characters and answering your burning questions, so fire away! Make sure to follow @ImaginationSRS and use the hashtag #ImaginationSeries to stay in the loop.

Calling all aspiring directors: check this out!

Really Old Polaroids of Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, and More

The tabloids tell us that models and actresses are photoshopped and normal-looking in real life. My experience- since running into some of them in New York- is that yes, they are photoshopped…by JESUS! They really are THAT beautiful in real life. They stand out like freaks. Insanely perfect freaks. This is proof.
